CNC Programming Course

CNC PROGRAMMING COURSE PROGRAM

Registrations have started to be accepted for CNC Programming courses, which will be given face-to-face by Turkish-German University ALUAM (Research Laboratories Application and Research Center) faculty members within TAU-SEM. If the sufficient number of trainees is reached (minimum 5 people), course programs will be opened.

ABOUT CNC PROGRAMMING

CNC consists of the initials of the words Computer Numerical Control. The axes are automatically positioned precisely along the direction in which it moves.

As technology developed, complex parts had to be manufactured faster and more precisely. Even though it is possible to manufacture parts with the desired precision on classical machines as a result of the skill of the operator, it is not possible to produce parts with the same precision and in a shorter time. In CNC machines, unlike NC machines, the program can be stopped and changed, the modified program is both executed and stored in its final form in the system like tool parts and sizes. It can be defined to the CNC machine tool by the operator, and it is sufficient to define all these parameters once in the control unit. The CNC machine control unit is fed by a power source and the program is stored in case of any power outage. In addition, there is no operator intervention during part processing on CNC machine tools, thus minimizing operator errors and ensuring maximum occupational safety. In addition, in CNC machine tools, the workpiece is produced precisely and continuously at the same size, meaning that the repetition and positioning accuracy of CNC machine tools is very high. The aim of CNC Milling Programming Training; Understanding the working logic of the machines, recognizing the control unit, taking the part zero and tool offsets and bringing them to the machining phase, making graphic, setting and parameter settings, determining cutting parameters such as cutting speed, revolutions and feed, and being able to process parts with the CNC programming method. Designs created on computers are decided on the processing stages for CNC Machines, these are controlled by simulation and G-codes are created for processing.
