English for Primary School Students

ONLINE GENERAL ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROGRAMME FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

Pre-registrations for the Online General English Language Programme for Primary School Students, which will be taught online by Turkish-German University SFL instructors at TAU-SEM, will be accepted for the DEC-2023 academic year. The course will be opened if the number of trainees is reached (minimum 15 people). 

ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

Children who learn English at an early age learn the language more quickly and easily and usually have a more proper accent. In addition, the knowledge acquired at an early age is more permanent. On the other hand, online classes offer a dynamic learning experience in which the instructors support the children with various materials and fun activities and in which the children actively participate. 

Our Online English Language Education Programme for primary school 1st - 4th grade students blends language learning with games and fun activities, making it an interactive and effective experience for children. Students have the opportunity to improve their language skills while learning in interactive lessons.

ONLINE GENERAL ENGLISH COURSE PROGRAMME FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

In 2023 English courses, weekday classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 18:00 and 21:30, and weekend classes will be held on Saturdays and Sundays between 09:30-13:00. 

The registration and course start dates of the Online General English Language Course for Primary School Students, which will start in December-2023, are as follows.

*You can pre-register online from the link below from the beginning of the registration period. If the quotas are filled, the pre-registration form will be closed to access before the specified date. 

The Placement Test will be held online on the date and time announced in the table and will be held in open camera.

-A front and back scanned photocopy of student ID card

PAYMENT INFORMATION

Payments will be deposited on behalf of the Turkish-German University Revolving Fund Management Directorate, Halkbank Beykoz Branch, with the IBAN number in the same mail when you receive the 'class has been opened' e-mail.

Please write your name, surname and 'Online General English Course Fee for Primary School Students' in the explanation section.

*If the fees deposited to the account will not be deposited by the trainee himself/herself, the identity (Name, Surname and TR Identity No) and contact information of the person who deposited the course fee to the bank account should be included and the Name-Surname of the trainee and 'Online General English Course Fee for Primary School Students' should be written in the Description section.

CONDITIONS FOR OPENING, CONDUCTING AND CERTIFICATING ENGLISH COURSES

Periodically, the quota status is determined by the English Coordinator's Office according to the intensity of applications.  

The responsibility for the content of the programme belongs to the relevant faculty member.

In the event that the programme is not opened due to insufficient number of participants (15 participants) or if the programme cannot be carried out due to legal or extraordinary reasons, the participants who have paid the fee will be refunded according to the decision of the relevant Board and/or Unit of TAU. No interest or similar delay compensation is paid in the refund of the participation fee.

In order to qualify for the Certificate of Attendance, it is compulsory to attend 70% of the courses.

No full or partial refund will be made to those who register and do not attend the courses. In cases where TAU-SEM decides to refund the fee, the relevant account will be refunded within 60 days. 

In other matters, the relevant regulations and decisions to be taken by TAU-SEM Board of Directors are valid.

Certain discounts are applied to TAU staff and their 1st degree relatives, TAU students, those attending with their spouse or siblings, and relatives of martyrs and veterans.

Those who register for the programme are deemed to have accepted these conditions.
