ONLINE GENERAL ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROGRAM FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Pre-registrations for the DECEMBER-2023 Education Period will be accepted for the Online General English Language Program for High School Students, which will be given online by Turkish-German University SFL members within TAU-SEM. If the sufficient number of trainees is reached (minimum 15 people), the course will be opened.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Our online program, prepared for high school level students, is equipped with rich content that strengthens the language skills of students to reach the required English level at universities in Turkey and abroad. Courses are designed to increase communication skills that can be used in both daily life and academic environments. With the content prepared by instructors who are experts in their fields, grammar and vocabulary are developed at an advanced level, and English writing and speaking skills are strengthened. The lessons are specially designed to increase the ability to understand and interpret English texts.

With rich content, online live lessons and experienced instructors, the program supports students' academic and personal development and prepares a solid foundation for university applications and future career goals.

ONLINE GENERAL ENGLISH COURSE PROGRAM FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

In 2023 English courses, classes will be held between 18:00 and 21:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays in weekday classes, and between 09:30 and 13:00 in weekend classes on Saturdays and Sundays.

*You can pre-register online from the link below, starting from the beginning of the registration period. If the quota is filled, the pre-registration form will be closed before the specified date.

The Placement Exam will be held online on the date and time announced in the table and will be held with an open camera system.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

Payments will be deposited in the name of Halkbank Beykoz Branch, Turkish-German University Revolving Fund Management Directorate, with the IBAN number included in the same e-mail when the 'class has been opened' e-mail is sent to you.

Please write your name and surname and 'Online General English Course Fee for High School Students' in the description section.

*If the fees deposited to the account will not be deposited by the trainee himself, the identity (Name, Surname and TR Identity Number) and contact information of the person who deposits the course fee to the bank account must be included and in the Description section, the name and surname of the trainee must be written as 'Online General English Course Fee for High School Students'. ' should be written.

CONDITIONS FOR OPENING, CONDUCTING AND OBTAINING CERTIFICATE OF AN ENGLISH COURSE

Quota status is determined periodically by the English Coordinator depending on the application density.

Responsibility for the content of the program belongs to the relevant faculty member.

If the program is not opened due to not reaching the sufficient number of participants (15 participants) or if the program cannot be carried out due to legal or extraordinary reasons, the fee will be refunded to the paid participants according to the decision of the relevant TAU ​​Board and/or Unit. No interest or similar delay compensation will be paid on the refund of the participation fee.

It is mandatory to attend 70% of the classes to qualify for the Certificate of Participation.

There will be no full or partial refund for those who register but do not attend classes. In cases where TAU-SEM decides to refund the fee, it will be refunded to the relevant account within 60 days.

In other matters, the relevant regulations and decisions taken by the TAU-SEM Board of Directors are valid.

Certain discounts are applied to TAU staff and their first-degree relatives, TAU students, those who attend with their spouses or siblings, and relatives of martyrs and veterans.

Those who register for the program are deemed to have accepted these terms.
