General English Language Course-Beginner Level

ONLINE GENERAL ENGLISH COURSE PROGRAMME
 
Pre-registrations will be accepted for the General English Language Courses to be given online by Turkish-German University SFL instructors at TAU-SEM for the JUNE-2023 Education Period. In case of reaching the quorum of trainees (minimum 15 people), a BEGINNER LEVEL (A1, A2) English course will be opened.

English Course Programme and Fees

In 2023 English courses, classes will be taught between 18:00 and 21:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays in weekday classes, and between 09:30 and 13:00 in weekend classes on Saturdays and Sundays.

Registration and course start dates for the online General English Language Course, which will start in the JUNE-2023 Term, are as follows.

*You can pre-register online from the link below, starting from the beginning of the registration period. If the quota is filled, the pre-registration form will be closed before the specified date.

The Placement Exam will be held online on the date and time announced in the table and will be held with an open camera system.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

Payments will be deposited in the name of Halkbank Beykoz Branch, Turkish-German University Revolving Fund Management Directorate, with the IBAN number included in the same e-mail when the 'class has been opened' e-mail is sent to you.

Write your name and surname and 'General English Course Fee' in the description section.

*If the fees deposited to the account will not be paid by the trainee himself, the identity (Name, Surname and TR ID Number) and contact information of the person who deposits the course fee to the bank account must be included and the trainee's Name-Surname and 'General English Course Fee' must be written in the Description section.

CONDITIONS FOR OPENING, CONDUCTING AND CERTIFICATING ENGLISH COURSES

Periodically, the quota status is determined by the English Coordinator's Office according to the intensity of applications.  

The responsibility for the content of the programme belongs to the relevant faculty member.

In the event that the programme is not opened due to insufficient number of participants (15 participants) or if the programme cannot be carried out due to legal or extraordinary reasons, the participants who have paid the fee will be refunded according to the decision of the relevant Board and/or Unit of TAU. No interest or similar delay compensation is paid in the refund of the participation fee.

In order to qualify for the Certificate of Attendance, it is compulsory to attend 70% of the courses.

No full or partial refund will be made to those who register and do not attend the courses. In cases where TAU-SEM decides to refund the fee, the relevant account will be refunded within 60 days. 

In other matters, the relevant regulations and decisions to be taken by TAU-SEM Board of Directors are valid.

Certain discounts are applied to TAU staff and their 1st degree relatives, TAU students, those attending with their spouse or siblings, and relatives of martyrs and veterans.

Those who register for the programme are deemed to have accepted these conditions.
